Rümlang, 2 November 2026 – At BAU 2027 in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for the construction industry, dormakaba will present its latest innovations in Hall B1, Booth 319, under the motto “Secure Access. Enabling Life.” At the same time, the access solutions specialist offers a practical glimpse into the future. A practical example demonstrates how robotics can be integrated into future access and door solutions.
At the BAU 2027 trade fair, dormakaba will use real-world examples to demonstrate how its broad product portfolio is being further developed. A key focus will be on communication between access solutions and robots – a growing market of the future. For example, cleaning robots are being used in an increasing number of facilities. To ensure that only authorized individuals can access secure indoor areas while enabling convenient and efficient building cleaning, dormakaba is developing and testing interface solutions in collaboration with its partners. At BAU 2027, the company will present initial use cases for the EasyAssist door assistant and report on the progress of its development.
In light of growing hybrid threats, perimeter security is becoming increasingly important. With its robust Kentaur turnstiles, dormakaba offers reliable protection for outdoor facilities. Combined with ID card readers, they enable efficient, automated access control. At BAU 2027, dormakaba will unveil the latest addition to the Kentaur range. Certified to Resistance Class 3 (RC3), it provides an even higher level of resistance than other models in the range.
