dormakaba receives major orders from German airports

Rümlang, 8 January 2026 – dormakaba with strong order intake in the airport sector in fiscal year 2025/26. The company is supplying, replacing, and maintaining more than 650 Argus Air sensor gates (eGates) at Frankfurt, Munich, and Düsseldorf airports. The order volume is in the low double-digit million range (CHF).

From spring 2026 onward, newly installed Argus Air boarding sensor gates will be operational in Frankfurt (Terminal 1) and Munich (Terminal 2). They will enable passengers of Lufthansa and Star Alliance airlines to enjoy easy and convenient self-boarding. Argus Air sensor gates for boarding pass control and boarding have already been installed in the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport. In addition, dormakaba has equipped all security-relevant passageways throughout Terminal 3 with security doors.
