Rümlang, 23 September 2026 — dormakaba wins a Swiss Sustainability Reporting Excellence Award 2026 recognizing the company’s effort to make sustainability performance transparent. The award, presented by the University of St. Gallen and PwC Switzerland, celebrates Swiss companies that demonstrate excellence in sustainability reporting on criteria such as readability and quality.
dormakaba wins in the category “Technology.” The analysis of more than 250 companies in various industries also assessed topic weighting, tonality and design. The assessment is rooted in a research-based methodology developed by the Institute for Law and Economics (ILE-HSG) at the University of St. Gallen and combines quantitative analysis with expert evaluation.
“Receiving this award reflects the collaborative, company-wide effort to make sustainability performance transparent, measurable and relevant to stakeholders. The report involved colleagues across the organization, contributing data, expertise and content from different functions and regions,” says Stephanie Ossenbach, Group Sustainability Officer, who received the award for dormakaba. “When you look at the past winners of this award – some of Switzerland’s most well-known companies - it makes this recognition feel even more significant.”
dormakaba started alignment with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), and it will be fully compliant with the ESRS requirements in its Sustainability Report FY2027/28.
