Torsten Stolte becomes new Managing Director at dormakaba Germany

Ennepetal, 20 December 2023 – Torsten Stolte will be appointed Managing Director of dormakaba Deutschland GmbH as of January 1, 2024. He will be responsible for sales, marketing, and service in his role. Torsten Stolte succeeds Michael Hensel, who has taken on a new challenge within the dormakaba Group and, as Program Manager, is responsible for simplifying processes and optimizing customer relationships at Group level. Having worked for the company for many years in various international management functions, Torsten Stolte brings a wealth of experience and proven leadership qualities to develop dormakaba Germany successfully. The focus will be on further expanding customer orientation.
Torsten Stolte, a 46-year-old graduate economist born in Witten, will take up his new position at dormakaba's German headquarters in Ennepetal. He began his career leading sales and marketing positions in the building materials industry. Since joining the former company Dorma in 2009, Torsten Stolte has held various management positions within the dormakaba Group in Germany, the USA, and Switzerland. Most recently, as Chief Strategy Officer, he played a key role in developing the global growth strategy Shape4Growth, which aims to further drive customer focus and strengthen the company for the future.
